Layers Of The Skin 

These three layers are consequently targeted by firing ultrasound beams into the skin at depths of 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm, the latter penetrating the muscular layer.

 

Depths of the ultrasound will vary depending on the areas of the face. This is because the skin is thinner and more sensitive around the mouth and above the eyes. Therefore, we use a much lower level of ultrasound.

 

Once the multiple ultrasound beams have penetrated the skin, they converge at focused points at whichever depth is appropriate. As a result of this, they create a tiny source of heat, which stimulates the collagen to grow and repair. Collagen is the agent that tightens the skin, making it look younger and healthier.
